Publish what AI makes
Drop a folder, get an HTTPS URL. A page an assistant just wrote, a folder of markdown or PDF documents, or a built front end — no build step to configure, no account required to start.

Three ways in
| Status | ||
|---|---|---|
| Browser | Works today | Drop a folder at dropto.run. No account needed for the first one. |
| An AI agent | Works today | Deploy from an AI agent — the CLI in any coding agent, or the MCP server in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Codex or Gemini CLI. |
| A shell | Works today | npm i -g drop2run, then the CLI publishes a folder. |
What a folder needs
An index.html at its root, for a site. That is the only requirement.
A folder of documents works too, with no index.html: markdown, PDF, Word (.docx), Excel (.xlsx) or
EPUB. It is served through a reader with a file tree, syntax highlighting, Mermaid diagrams and KaTeX
maths, so a directory of notes — or a report an assistant wrote — reads like a documentation site. A
single file is a whole publish. The same URL hands the raw file to curl or an agent, so one link
serves a person and a tool.
What happens to it
Every publish is a new immutable version. The old one keeps serving until the new one is complete, so a site is never half-deployed and never blank mid-publish. Publishing the identical folder again creates no version at all — it says "already up to date" instead.
Reaching every edge takes up to about a minute. The URL works immediately from where you published.
Letting an agent publish for you
A coding agent runs shell commands — Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, the agents in Cursor and VS Code —
so the CLI is all it needs. A chat app with no shell gets the MCP server
instead — npx -y @drop2run/mcp, no install — and a chat on the web or a phone, claude.ai or ChatGPT,
adds the same server by URL, https://mcp.dropto.run/mcp. Either way, Deploy from an AI agent is the
page that picks between them and has the setup for each client; Deploy from Claude has
Claude's one-click extension.
